February 16, 2010 - My Dad's Bday & Mom & Dad's Anniversary!

Page took off work today and after I got home from work and running errands, we went & picked up Kim & Jewel and drove down to Cracker Barrel in Shawnee to celebrate with Mom & Dad. Kim is due to have baby Kaylee on the 28th so she was a little uncomfortable with all the riding in the car but we managed and made it there and back with no problems. It was great to all be together and we had a nice time. I sure wish Mom & Dad just lived down the road from me instead of almost 2 hours away! I would be so happy!

February 15, 2010 - Bathing Cuties!

Now that Mikey is eating table food the messiness factor has doubled! Today he ate leftover manicotti....see how happy it makes him!

All this messiness leads to baths. Here are 2 of my bathing cuties...Chris won't go for pics like this anymore-lol-which is a good thing at his age!

Mikey kept trying to pull up on the side of the tub. Why do all kids this age do that? We all know where it ultimately leads...to a big goose egg on the side of the noggin. Luckily I was able to prevent that today.

February 14, 2010 - My Funny Valentines...

Today I got to be with all my loves. Page and I celebrated late last night after he got off work and he got me a lovely card and a box of chocolates-yum!

This morning we gave the kids each a little gift bag of goodies.

I made 4 Cheese Manicotti for dinner and it turned out great! Page actually had to work from 3-11 but he was able to come home for supper so I was trying to make it special. The kids get really excited when we officially set the table (this is their version anyway).

We also made Chocolate Mocha Sweethearts & had some leftover cupcakes from Rachel's Birthday.

All in all a wonderful and busy day. And I have a new recipe to add to the rotation because even the kids ate the Manicotti-Woot! Mr. Buns has now started boycotting puree the last couple of meals as he smells our food cooking. He ate a ton of Manicotti...I'm serious this baby can eat like nobody's business!

Another Tinkerbell party this weekend. This time it was for Kamber and we got to see Amy's beautiful new house in Oak Tree Park...makes me a little sad to come back to the hovel. This time I did remember the camera and got some good shots of the girls.
