Another nutty week. On Tuesday, I braved the grocery store with all 3 kids, which I NEVER do, but I was desperate and sure enough at one point during the madness, Lexi put her hand on the floor to pick something up and I rolled right over it with the very full shopping cart!! So, there she is screaming in the middle of Crest and I am trying to comfort her and figure out how that just happened meanwhile avoided all the accusing stares and whispers-hehe...maybe that was in my head but I was literally sweating and picturing that old Calgon commercial all the while thinking to myself, NEVER AGAIN!!
Had to work late Wednesday to prepare for a very stressful work related meeting that I have been dreading!
Got that meeting over with by 3 yesterday and then we had the Charles Haskell fun fair, which was a lot of fun. I forgot my camera so no pictures :( Lexi and I did the cake walk a bunch of times and never won. The kids loved the bounce houses so we let them use up all their tickets doing that. I think it was a big success and a lot of money was raised for the school!
Today we all met over at Mel & Deby's new land where they are working on building a place. We had a cookout to celebrate her birthday which is on Tuesday and it was fun! They were digging big holes for the plumbing and for some reason that fascinated Chris and he asked for a shovel so he could help dig. I thought to myself, well this will last about 10 minutes, but he was out there digging for hours! It was hilarious! I never knew!
