April 20, 2010 - Project Flowerbed...A Work In Progress!

Well, I've been trying to do something with my front flowerbed and just wanted to share the progress so far....

Here is a before picture of the sad, little flowerbed.

 

I don't want to call this an after picture because I'm still working on it, but here is the in progress shot....

I moved the bricks over, added to bags of chocolate brown mulch, scooted my 2 Nandinas to the right so I could add a 3rd to that empty space on the back left, and planted, Zinnias, Geraniums, some ground cover and a solar stepping stone.  The 2 Hostas are back from last year and should get a lot bigger if I don't kill them first :)

So...better, but still no Better Homes & Garden.  I am open to any suggestions for other things I could plant to make this bed look fabulous!
