This has been an eventful week. On Monday I entered the Pre-K lottery for Lexi Mae and we are so hoping she makes it into Haskell because that would be much more convenient for all of us!! We will find out in a week or two.
Tuesday we rented the SmartXide Dot Co2 Laser at work and treated several patients. I love this laser! I wish we had one we could use all the time.
All of the 3rd grade classes have been gearing up for the big land run on Friday and Christopher volunteered to bring a covered wagon so that he could be the leader of a family. We have been searching for ways to convert his little turquoise, Step 2 wagon into a covered wagon :) We tried PVC pipe etc but in the end, Page ended up cutting a hula hoop in half and using duct tape. It actually worked out really well! Pics coming soon. The kids have also had O.C.C.T testing all week too so it's been a bit hectic for them as well.
The 3rd grade Land Run program was this evening at 6pm and it was super cute. The sang a bunch of songs and even did some square dancing for us! Great program, they all did a very good job. Christopher's land run 'wife' had a horrible case of Stage Fright and was crying through most of the program :( Tomorrow is the big Land Run at noon! The kids are all very excited.
I didn't get any good pics but here are a few blurry, chaotic ones:
The audience was captivated
Here is a video of one of the songs they sang:
