Today was an exciting day in more ways than one! I got Lexi Mae enrolled in Pre-K which is bittersweet. Chris went to school today but ended up coming home and his fever is back :( I think we will go ahead and take him to the Dr. tomorrow.
Tornado season is officially here and this afternoon we had tons of tornado warnings with many tornado's touching down, one report said there were 39 confirmed. Needless to say, I had the kids in the closet at times and Chris was wigging out. He kept trying to get me to put Mikey in the closet and was seriously distressed when I didn't immediately comply ;)
The Loves store at the Choctaw exit off I-40 was completely destroyed which is so crazy-that tornado was classified as an F-4 and no one was hurt in that one! This tornado went right through more where my niece, Jewel, was! Thankfully, she is fine. They did get lots of hail etc. some softball sized!
My old hometown of Pink, Oklahoma also had several homes destroyed by an F-3...probably the most news coverage Pink has ever gotten, lol.
Here are some pics I swiped from Channel 9's website of pictures from the tornado's in Yukon/Mustang, Choctow, OKC, Tecumseh & OKC:
Crazy stuff! Sometimes it's scary living in Oklahoma! Here in Edmond it had all passed us around 6:30 or so. Page had to block traffic for some downed power lines but that was pretty much it. He was hope with Little Caesars by 6:30 and we finally were able to coax Chris out of the closet ;)
