Today has been busy - got my hair done @ 9:30 am & then had lunch at McLaren's Pantry...yum!!! They have the best Chicken Salad Croissants & the best cookies/bars ever ever ever!
More good news today found out that Lexi got AM Pre-K so we can take her to school with Chris in the mornings!! Very happy about that, yet sad another chick is leaving the nest.
Took Chris to the Dr. at 2:30 and turns out he has a horrible case of bronchitis. They told him he could either get a steroid shot or take the steroids for several days by mouth. Well, my (sometimes ;) brave) boy decided to get the shot and apparently steroid shots hurt really bad...I don't know these things?! Anyway, they gave him the shot and he said ow, ow but didn't cry or anything. So we went to check out and all the sudden he gets woozy and tells me he feels like he's going to get sick! He runs to the bathroom and I ask them to go get the nurse to make sure everything's ok. I peek in the men's room and he is on the floor, hovering over the nasty trashcan (EW!!!!!!!!!!!) and he is as green as pea soup! We get him back and into a room again and gave him a snack and some Sprite and he started getting better. Then when we went to leave, he couldn't walk or put any pressure on the leg! We finally got him hobbling to the car and he was fine within an hour or two. Now he will just have to take his Z-pac and hopefully be back to normal within a day or so! We will probably keep him home again tomorrow. I can't believe he can already swallow a pill, what a big guy!
