Today proved to me that no matter what you have going on in your life or how overwhelmed you may feel, life does not slow down for you!! First up was the baby shower for one of my very best friends Amy, who is in from Houston, and I am a co-hostess! Needless to say, with everything we have had going on with the funeral/company etc. I did not have my baby shower ducks in a row!
I was up early and dashed to the grocery store to get the ingredients for the Strawberry Spinach Salad I was bringing (thanks, Rachel for the recipe!!) and then back home to put it all together. Then a mad dash to Target to grab napkins and baby gift (The First Years BabyPro Sterilizer and the cutest outfit ever!!!) and then a drive down to Norman to Amy's cousin Shana's house...which is absolutely gorgeous btw!
Amy is one of those disgusting women that looks like a twig that swallowed a basketball when she is knocked up, it's naseating...especially to someone who looks like a beached whale when she's pregnant...not naming any names or anything.
Here is the glowing goddess with the babies sporty onesies. This child is going to be so confused trying to decide whether to route for OU, OSU or LSU?!

After all the festivities I headed back home and managed to squeeze in a 3 mile run and then hung out with the family some more.
Time flies super duper fast so expect the unexpected. Last year was unexpected for me because I just got married to my boyfriend for three months! And in three months, I will be giving birth to our son, which is also a surprise! Oh, how we love this life.. <3
